Today is the day we have been looking forward to and dreading all at the same time. The morning was an emotional roller coaster. We went to the lawn at the Provo Temple and said our goodbyes because we knew we wouldn't have time when we dropped him off at the MTC. Then as we pulled into the MTC a cute Elder came up to our truck to help us unload and said, WELCOME TO THE MTC ELDER! If there were any doubts in my mind before getting there, they were all replaced by the smile on Logan's face when the other Missionary addressed him as Elder!
Elder Logan Grady Payne was set apart as a full time missionary for the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints this evening. President Shawn Jones pronounced a beautiful blessing on Elder Payne as he set him apart as a missionary!
Logan wouldn't be where he is today if it were not for the amazing people in his life. We are so thankful for your love and support. I wish that I had gotten more pictures, but please just know how much we love each of you! Thank You!
When Logan received his endowments last week the temple President told
Logan that as a missionary his goal shouldn't be to just merely get
people baptized, but to teach them about Eternal Families and the
Blessings of the Temple. He further counseled Logan to come back to the
temple as soon as possible so that he could gain a further witness of
the blessings that are in the Temple. So Logan and I drove back over to
the Payson and Draper Temples and spent two wonderful days preforming
ordinances in these
